JCC Bowers Highlighted As UK Company On The Rise
JCC Bowers has been featured as an exciting, up-and-coming business by Invest in Hampshire, a UK economic-development association.
Alongside such conglomerates as Sony, Garmin, Eli Lilly and Barclays Asset Finance, the automotive tech startup is highlighted as a successful company that has located its headquarters strategically in Hampshire’s thriving tech and engineering hub, which is also a key wireless communications corridor.
“With a focus on connected and autonomous vehicles, JCC Bowers represents the leading edge of the smart device industry, expected to be worth $9.2 trillion by 2020. Connected cars promise to transform transportation in ways that profoundly improve and optimize our lives,” CEO John Bowers said. “Hampshire is not only the place I’m proud to raise my family, but also the dynamic tech community I knew I wanted this growing company to be a part of.”
JCC Bowers, founded in 2015, soon debuts its first product, Cobalt Auta. The engine plug-in transforms your car into a fully connected, autonomous and artificially intelligent vehicle.
Cobalt Auta is compatible with 98 percent of automotive models worldwide, enabling millions to access features once reserved for luxury vehicles with one small device. These include remote start, anti-theft protection, parking spot memory, advanced driver-assistance services, in-car Wi-Fi and thousands of other capabilities.
Similar to an iPhone with Siri, Cobalt Auta comes with an artificially intelligent sidekick named Cobie who learns your habits and makes your life easier. He’ll notice, for instance, a meeting on your calendar and warm up the car before you step out the door. Ultimately, vehicles equipped with Cobalt Auta will gain the ability to drive themselves.
